There are over 7 100 languages spoken in the world today, each of which is concentrated on doctrines, religious belief, lifestyles, tradition and cultural heritage. All these languages are vulnerable to be understood by satanic workshop and each or all of it can be spoken and understood in communication by devil due to his ability and fashion of design to be very knowledgeable. As believers, who walk in the spiritual realm, one must be able to communicate in Spirit in a language that only God can interpret and understand. There are so many underlying factors that hinder and obstruct our prayers from being answered as desired, one of these unnoticed and unscrupulous factors is praying in a common language, which gives some of the principalities the power and privilege to identify your prayer requests from God which can be conversely counteracted and blocked by the devilish powers. That is why we all need to tap from the Spirit of God in order to converse directly with God in different tongues as led by the Spirit. Our communion with the Holy Spirit gives us the utterance of the Spirit [Acts 2:4] in which we can talk to God without any interception of the devil or any other personality understanding our prayer requests. There are tones of tongues in the Christian body, each of which is edifying God and making our heart-desires known to God without speaking our native language or any lingua franca.
Speaking in tongues is a special phenomenon that occurs when a person is experiencing religious ecstasy. It is a means of uttering incomprehensible sounds that is believed as a language spoken and understood by God. the Bible made it clear that; “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God…” [1 Corinthians 14:2] as believers tend to speak in tongues during intense religious ecstasy, the experience can be used in prayers, praises, worships and it is also seen as a form of self-edification [1 Corinthians 14:3]. Speaking in tongues help in building up oneself in holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost [John 1:20]. It has also been seen as a platform of stimulating our faith and helps us learn how to trust God fully. As we exercise faith in speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit particularly directs our words [1 Corinthians 1:5] speaking in tongues is a sign possessed by those who believe in Christ as they will be accompanied by this special feature [Mark 16:17]
